Robert L. Howell, M.D.
An Atlanta native, Dr. Howell received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University.
He completed both his general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the University of Tennessee. His hand fellowship was done at The Barnes Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Howell is Board certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Emory University and is the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee for the State Board of Worker’s Compensation.
