Farmer Had Strong Freshman Year Despite Having Bone Removed


June 2010 –Kyle Farmer has played sports almost from the time he learned to walk.

He has taken head-rattling hits playing high school football. He has walked off the searing bites of a high-velocity baseball.

Despite the years of putting his body at risk on a ball field, he had never had a major injury until last spring, when he flailed at a high fastball and the bat snapped back.

Dr. John Dalton Receives Board Certification


September 2007 – John F. Dalton, IV, M.D. has received his Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery. Certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery means that the orthopaedic surgeon has met the specified educational, evaluation, and examination requirements of the Board.

Dr. John Seiler to become President of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery

September 2007 – The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery has announced that John Gray Seiler, III, M.D. is the President – Elect, whose term will begin in September 2008.
The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Inc. was founded in 1934 as a private, voluntary, nonprofit, independent organization to serve the best interests of the public and the medical profession. These interests are achieved through the ABOS by establishing standards for the education of orthopaedic surgeons. These standards are evaluated by the ABOS through examinations and practice evaluations.
