| Daniel Acker, OTR, CHT |
Daniel is the manager of the therapy department. He graduated
in 1992 from Eastern Kentucky University and received his Certification
in Hand Therapy in 1998. |
| He is an adjunct professor at Georgia Tech University in the Dept of Applied Physiology, teaching the upper extremity to prosthetic and orthotic students. He has presented at past ASHT meetings regarding flexor and extensor tendon injuries. Along with his managerial duties, Dan treats a steady caseload of patients, including founding an UE amputee program here at GHSE. He lives with his wife, daughter and chocolate Labradors and in his spare time enjoys riding his mountain bike. |
