For your protection and safety, medication refills cannot be given without access to your individual records which are available during regular office hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Questions Please do not hesitate to call Georgia Hand, Shoulder & Elbow when you have questions or concerns about your medical condition, medications, casts, surgery or any condition for which you are being treated. You may call Georgia Hand, Shoulder & Elbow at any time between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to schedule an appointment. Every effort will be made to see you as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible. However, when an emergency arises, our schedule is affected and we hope that you will inderstand. Insurance and Fees Office Visits: It is the responsibility of the patient to obtain a referral to Georgia Hand, Shoulder & Elbow when required by managed care plan. Worker's Compensation coverage must also be verified prior to scheduling appointments. These measures will help to insure proper payment of fees. All other patients will be provided with documents necessary to file a claim. Payment is expected at the time of service unless you have verified coverage with an insurance plan in which the physician participates. Surgery: If you have surgery, our staff will pre-certify the procedure with your insurance carrier and submit your insurance claim. You will be responsible for payment of any deductible amount and charges not covered or disallowed by your insurance carrier. |
