What Services Does Our Amputee Therapy Department Provide to Amputees?

Our team utilizes a unique approach to amputee therapy that allows us to create custom programs to address each individual’s needs. 

We work with your entire team and local prosthetists to ensure you are comfortable with every decision about your course of treatment. Plus, we collaborate to create a prosthetic physical therapy plan that works for you.

Our amputee therapy program provides these services to amputees:

  • A comprehensive evaluation of the patient’s functional and biometric abilities
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADL) retraining immediately after injury, before the prosthesis is fit
  • Wound and residual limb care
  • Strengthening and range of motion exercises for remaining joints
